New for the 2024 season – the medium-late variety Maestro. The variety was registered in Bulgaria in 2023. In registration studies, the Maestro variety stood out for its high protein content in the grain – 109% of the standard, and a grain yield of 107% of the standard.

Biological characteristics:

  • Growth type – semi-determinate
  • Plant height – 95-120 cm
  • Attachment of the lower pod – 12-15 cm
  • Flower color – purple
  • Seed coat color – yellow
  • Hilum color – yellow

Economic indicators:

  • Maturity group – medium-late
  • Yield potential – 5 t/ha
  • Mass of 1000 seeds – 190-240 g
  • Protein content – 39-43%
  • Fat content – 19-22%

This variety perfectly combines the most important parameters of its earliness group:

  • tall, robust plants
  • high placement of the first pod
  • vigorous branching
  • even distribution of pods across the entire plant

Maestro is characterized by a high thousand seed weight, with light yellow grains and a distinct mark – it is an ideal raw material for the food industry.
